Ladies’ Man: Jin Ke is the go-to male panda at Wolong, often called upon to mate with females that other males cannot handle. He is usually successful in these attempts. It is said that if a cub has brown fur on its abdomen, it is generally assumed to be one of Jin Ke’s offspring.

Birth: In 2009, Jin Ke was born at the Ya’an Bifengxia Base of the China Giant Panda Protection and Research Center.
Asian Games: On 27th October, 2010, as part of the “Asian Games Panda Team,” Jin Ke traveled to Guangzhou Baiyun Airport with companions such as Hao Hao (好好), Yun Yun (运运), Yin Ke (银柯), Bo Si (博斯), and Shen Wei (绅威) aboard a special China Southern Airlines flight. This trip marked their participation in promoting the 16th Asian Games and settling at the Xiangjiang Wildlife World (the predecessor of Chimelong).
Move to Langzhong: On 27 November, 2013, Jin Ke had a short assignment at the Langzhong Panda Paradise.
Breeding Program: On 13th January, 2015, Jin Ke returned to the Dujiangyan Base in Sichuan and subsequently moved back to the Ya’an Bifengxia Base. This year marked a significant milestone in his life as he became capable of natural mating and began participating in the breeding program.
Move to Dujiangyan: In 2018, Jin Ke relocated to the Wolong Shenshuping Base (China Giant Panda Garden), where he continues to reside.
Breeding Contributions: Since participating in the breeding program in 2015, Jin Ke has sired multiple offspring. His children include, but are not limited to, Xin Bao (新宝), Hua Bao (华宝), He He (和和), Jiu Jiu (九九), A Jie (阿杰), Ya Jun (雅郡), Ling Yan (灵岩), Mang Xing Xing (莽星星), Mang Chen Chen (莽辰辰), Meng Xun (梦寻), and Ao Bao (奥宝).
