Intriguing Details of Panda Chun Sheng

Appearance: Chun Sheng features straight eye circles, a high nose bridge, and a slightly short mouth, complemented by wide shoulders, giving him a particularly striking look.

Nickname Origins: When Chun Sheng was young, he lived with Re Gan Mian (热干面/Hot Dry Noodles), Dan Hong Gao (蛋烘糕,/Egg Cake), and Xiang Guo (香果/Sweet Fruit). During their playful wrestling matches, Chun Sheng could even take on all three at once without losing his edge. Since the other three pandas’ names are food-related, Chun Sheng’s moves were humorously nicknamed “kneading dough,” “pounding rice cake,” and “squeezing fruit juice.” Because of his impressive “skills,” he earned the nicknames “Chef Chun” and “Little War God.”

Eating Style: At breakfast, Chun Sheng sits on the ground with great determination. He holds a bamboo stalk in his left hand, while continuously feeding himself small pieces of bamboo with his right hand. His focus and strength make it look like eating is the most important task in the world to him.
