Move to Wuhan: Pang Niu was born on August 17, 2016, at the Yaan Bifengxia Base of the China Giant Panda Protection and Research Center. Her first major adventure took place on July 11, 2019, when she traveled with fellow panda Chun Qiao (春俏) to Wuhan Zoo.
Move to Yangzhou: On March 25, 2021, Pang Niu returned to the Bifengxia Base due to renovations at Wuhan Zoo. However, her journey didn’t end there; on April 8, 2021, she was sent to the Panda Pavilion at the Yangzhou World Horticultural Expo. There, along with other pandas like Qing Qing (晴晴), Chun Qiao, Nian Nian (念念), Jiu Jiu (玖玖), and Xiang Zhu (香竹), she participated in public education activities, helping to raise awareness about panda conservation while continuing to entertain and delight the crowds.
