Exchange to Australia: On December 14, 2024, Yi Lan, along with male panda Xing Qiu (星秋), departed from the Dujiangyan Base of the China Giant Panda Protection and Research Center. They boarded a special flight to Adelaide Zoo in Australia. Upon arrival at Adelaide Zoo, Yi Lan and Xing Qiu underwent a period of quarantine to ensure their health and safety.
Meet the Public: On January 21, 2025, Xing Qiu and Yi Lan ended their quarantine and officialy meet the public in Adelaide Zoo.
