Life Experience of Panda Qing Tian
Early Life: When Qing Tian was little, he was a super clingy cub with an easygoing personality. No matter who he was paired with, he’d quickly become friends – always eager to stick close to other pandas! In kindergarten, he was a restless little fluff ball. While all the other cubs were napping, he refused to sleep and would climb all over his fellow cubs instead.
Move to Bifengxia: As he grew, Qing Tian was relocated in 2021 to the Ya’an Bifengxia Base of the China Giant Panda Protection and Research Center, an environment better suited for pandas to thrive and reproduce.
Friendship with Yi Yi: Qing Tian is known for his remarkable strength and appetite. Despite his somewhat starved appearance, he possesses impressive musculature and significant fighting spirit. His daily play fights with another panda, Yi Yi (壹壹), have become a highlight for visitors at Bifengxia, showcasing his lively personality and energetic demeanor.
Move to Shenshuping: On January 18, 2025, Qing Tian moved to the Wolong Shenshuping Giant Panda Base to start his matchmaking journey. However, just two days after arriving, his true nature was on full display. First, he rolled around in the mud, turning his snow-white fur pitch black. Then, he splashed around in the pool, making the water murky. Finally, he started tearing apart the protective covers on the trees. It’s hard to say which female panda would be impressed by him!
