Professional Traveler: Since birth, Xian Zi has been relocated between various bases of the China Giant Panda Conservation Research Center to adapt to different living environments and conservation needs.
Move to Ya’an: On July 31, 2007, Xian Zi moved from the Nuozhiping Wild Training Base to the Ya’an Bifengxia Base.
Move to Nanjing: On April 18, 2008, Xian Zi, along with Jing Jing (晶晶) and Mei Ling (美灵), was sent to the Nanjing Hongshan Forest Park Zoo in Jiangsu Province for a short-term exhibition.
Back to Ya’an: On March 26, 2009, Xian Zi returned to the Ya’an Bifengxia Base after the exhibition in Nanjing.
Settle in Weihai: On September 1, 2009, Xian Zi arrived at Qingdao Liuting Airport via Sichuan Airlines and was then transferred to the Weihai Rongcheng Xixiaokou Shendiao Mountain Wildlife World (Xixiaokou Wildlife Park), where he has lived for over a decade.
