The theme of the 2025 Rose Parade is “Best Day Ever!”, and attendees can expect a spectacular lineup of music performances, an opening ceremony, equestrian teams, marching bands, and dozens of flower-covered floats, each adorned with thousands of roses, carnations, and other flowers along with natural elements.

The Honda Rose Parade float will lead the opening ceremony. Canadian singer Kiesza, known for her 2014 hit “Hideaway,” will kick off the 136th Rose Parade with a performance supported by 20 dancers dressed in sparkling reflective outfits. Following her will be American soul singer Aloe Blacc, who recorded “Wake Me Up,” a popular 2013 song by the late Avicii. Blacc will perform alongside trampoline wall performers and glowing light tubes.

The B-2 Spirit bomber from the 509th Bomb Wing at Whiteman Air Force Base in Missouri will fly over the Rose Parade route. The B-2 Spirit is a versatile bomber capable of carrying both conventional and nuclear weapons. It represents a major technological leap and a significant milestone in the modernization of the U.S. bomber fleet.

The “Friendship Across the Earth” float from the San Diego Zoo Wildlife Alliance will appear in the 9th position in the parade lineup. This float is the first-ever in Rose Parade history to showcase the friendship between the people of China and the U.S. The float, which is 25 feet tall, 18 feet wide, and 55 feet long, features the images of giant pandas Yun Chuan and Xin Bao.

This marks the fourth time the San Diego Zoo Wildlife Alliance has participated in the Rose Parade. The organization has won two awards in the past: the Sweepstakes Award in 2024 and the Animation Award in 2023.
