Intriguing Details of Panda Qin Hua

Family Background: Qin Hua hails from a one-of-a-kind panda family. His father, Qi Zai, holds the title of the world’s only captive brown giant panda – an incredibly rare and special distinction. While Qin Hua didn’t inherit his dad’s brown coloring, he carries that same air of uniqueness.

Nickname Origin: With charming black markings on both sides of his mouth, Qin Hua earned the adorable nicknames “Little Mask” and “Sesame Paste.” The quirky spots make it look like he’s always wearing a panda-sized disguise – cute and mysterious all at once.

Little Trickster: Growing up alongside his sisters – Qin Yun (秦韵), Qin Xiu (秦秀), and Qin Mei (秦美) – Qin Hua was the baby of the bunch and often found himself at the mercy of their playful teasing. But don’t let that fool you – he always had a way of wiggling out of trouble with a wide-eyed, innocent stare that no one could resist. With eyes that are constantly shifting around, Qin Hua looks like he’s always up to something. But truth be told, he’s just a laid-back little panda who loves the simple joys of life – eating, lounging, and charming everyone around him.

Little Destroyer: On Qin Hua’s birthday, the keepers go all out – crafting a special panda-friendly cake and piling up adorable gifts. But the celebration doesn’t stay tidy for long. After happily gobbling down his treat, Qin Hua unleashes his inner “little destroyer,” sending bits of cake and decorations flying in every direction.

Spoiled and Loved: Qin Hua is especially adored by his keepers, who often dote on him during live streams, playfully cooing and fussing over him. The zoo is located in a relatively remote area, making it difficult for visitors to reach. However, Qin Hua’s adoption sponsor, the food company Panpan, has hired photographers to capture his daily moments. These photos and videos are frequently shared on social media, and they even like to add playful voiceovers in the Shaanxi dialect to accompany his videos.
