Intiguing Details of Panda Lou A Bao

Yoga Lover: Lou A Bao is known for his lively and active nature. He enjoys “doing yoga” by balancing his head on his feet – a unique behavior that often attracts onlookers and photographers.

V-Shaped Ears: Lou A Bao’s playful spirit once got the better of him during a cheeky encounter with his neighbor, the famously temperamental panda Qi Zai (七仔). After teasing Qi Zai one too many times, Lou A Bao got nipped on the ear in retaliation. The bite left a permanent mark—literally. The edge of Lou A Bao’s ear now forms a distinct “V” shape, resembling a tiny wrench. Rather than hide the battle scar, Lou A Bao wears it like a badge of honor, earning him the hilarious nickname “Wrench-Eared Panda.”

Friendship with Qi Zai: Despite their occasional squabbles, Lou A Bao and Qi Zai share a deep and genuine bond. When the zookeepers once separated the two for a short time, it didn’t take long for their friendship to show. Qi Zai became visibly anxious, pacing and scratching at the floor, while Lou A Bao mirrored the same restlessness, digging at the ground and glancing longingly in his friend’s direction. Their emotional reactions melted hearts online, showing that beneath the teasing and the ear-biting, there’s a strong connection built on companionship and mutual dependence.
