Intiguing Details of Panda Lou A Bao

Yoga Lover: Lou A Bao is known for his lively and active nature. He enjoys “doing yoga” by balancing his feet on his head—a unique behavior that often attracts onlookers and photographers.

V-Shaped Ears: During a playful altercation with his neighbor, Panda Qi Zai (七仔), Lou A Bao provoked him, only to be bitten on the ear by Qi Zai. As a result, the edge of Lou A Bao’s ear developed a distinctive “V” shape, resembling a wrench. Because of this, he is often humorously referred to as the “Wrench-Eared” Panda.

Friendship with Qi Zai: Lou A Bao and Qi Zai, when temporarily separated by the zookeepers, both displayed signs of impatience and distress. Qi Zai, unable to see Lou A Bao, became agitated and scratched at the floor, while Lou A Bao also became restless, digging at the ground. This amusing behavior highlighted the strong bond and mutual dependence between Lou A Bao and Qi Zai.
