Little Cuddler: When Ai Mi was a cub, he refused to drink milk on his own and insisted on being held by the keepers. He has loved being pampered since he was little. Sometimes, he would cover himself in mud and then rub against the keepers, chasing them all around the yard.
Appearance: Ai Mi’s most distinctive feature is his long snout. This feature stands out even more due to the “unfortunate” photography skills at the panda base. When his photos were first released, people even mistook him for an anteater.
Current Status: Ai Mi now lives in Villa No. 1 at Dujiangyan Panda Valley, sharing indoor and outdoor spaces alternately with Zhi Shi (芝士) and neighboring Mei Lan (梅兰). When he’s free, Ai Mi loves climbing trees to secretly observe what Mei Lan is up to.
