On New Year’s Day 2025, Lehe Ledu Animal Theme Park in Yongchuan District, Chongqing, held a celebration to mark the one-year anniversary of the “settlement” of four giant pandas—Qing Hua, Qing Lu, Ai Lian, and Qiao Yue. The park created a winter wonderland for the pandas, adding New Year decorations and preparing a feast for the animals.

At the event, staff used over 4 tons of real ice to create three snow environments, allowing the pandas to enjoy playing in the snow. To provide the most natural snow environment for the pandas, the staff traveled 200 kilometers away to Mount Jinfo in Nanchuan to gather snow for the pandas. Additionally, to enhance the festive atmosphere, the park prepared special local dishes, including “Yongchuan Xiucha,” “Douchi Carp,” and “Lion’s Head” as part of the “Yuchuan 360 Bowls” menu, so the pandas could enjoy delicious treats while feeling the holiday spirit.

In addition to the snow festivities, the park also held educational talks, a panda photography exhibition, an art exhibition, and activities such as painting and coloring. These events allowed visitors to not only admire the giant pandas but also learn more about these precious animals’ habits and conservation efforts.
