Zhen Da was born on August 7, 2006, at the Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding. Though he was relatively light at birth, he thrived thanks to the attentive care of his keepers.
National Travel Experiences:
Zhen Da has enjoyed a vibrant “work life,” participating in various exhibitions and exchanges at different zoos.
On October 8, 2008, Zhen Da traveled with his twin brother, Zhen Xiao, to Anji Bamboo Park in Zhejiang.
In the following years, he was sent to Wuxi Zoo on September 15, 2010, and later to Zibo Ru Yue Lake Wetland Park in Shandong on July 14, 2012.
Most recently, on August 3, 2018, Zhen Da moved to Dongguan Xiangshi Zoo with Shuang Er (双儿), where he continues to reside.
