Intriguing Details of Panda Lun Wu

Foster Mom: Since Lun Wu’s mother, Mei Lun, didn’t have enough milk, he was entrusted to Zhao Mei for care. At the time, Zhao Mei (昭美) had just given birth to Jin Dou (金豆) and had plenty of milk to share. Coincidentally, two years earlier, Lun Wu’s older brother, Lun Hui, was also raised by Zhao Mei. Naturally, Lun Wu developed a strong bond with both his foster mom and his “milk sibling,” Jin Dou. The three were inseparable – so much so that even when Zhao Mei longed for a moment of peace, Lun Wu wouldn’t give her a break!

Little Aobai: From a young age, Lun Wu stood out for his size – he was noticeably bigger than other cubs his age. His slightly frizzy fur added to his unique look, making him resemble the character Aobai from Stephen Chow’s Royal Tramp movies. That’s how he earned the nickname “Little Aobai.” But in reality, this fluffy, puffball-like appearance runs in his family – every cub in his lineage has had the same chubby, round face growing up.

The Moving Carpet: Lun Wu was a little adventurer from the very start. Even before he had the strength to walk properly, he was eager to explore the world. With his limbs still weak, he could only lie on the grass and inch forward ever so slowly, looking exactly like a moving carpet.

Master of Escaping Home Time: If there’s one thing Lun Wu dislikes, it’s leaving the outdoor enclosure. Whenever playtime is over and it’s time to head back inside, his keepers face an uphill battle. Sometimes, they try to lure him with tasty treats; other times, they resort to gentle persuasion. But no matter the tactic, Lun Wu resists with every fiber of his being. Even when they finally scoop him up, he thrashes and squirms, his entire body screaming, I’m not going back inside!

Lounge King: Lun Wu has a special love for a tall wooden chair in his enclosure. Whenever he’s in the mood to relax, he climbs up, settles in, and starts munching on bamboo. His favorite pose? Lying back with one leg casually swinging in the air, radiating the ultimate chill vibes – so much so that visitors can’t help but envy his carefree lifestyle.
