Relocations: On June 17, 2013, Ya Yun, along with another panda named Er Xi, was transferred to Changsha Ecological Zoo, where she began a new phase of her life. There, she displayed a calm and quiet personality. After several years in Changsha, Ya Yun returned to the Chengdu Research Base on May 25, 2017.

Breeding Records

On June 5, 2018, at 8:20 AM, Ya Yun successfully gave birth to a pair of panda twins, marking her first successful breeding. The larger cub, a female named Yun Wen, weighed 135.3 grams at birth, while the smaller cub, a male named Yun Wu, weighed 148.8 grams. The birth of these twins not only added new members to the giant panda family but also highlighted Ya Yun’s strength and dedication as a mother.
