Life Experience of Panda Er Qiao
Early Life: During her childhood, Er Qiao was part of the “Feng Liu (Crazy Six)” group of panda cubs, which included her companions Ai Li (艾莉), He Qi (和琪), He Mei (和美), Shuang Xin (双欣), and Shuang Xi (双喜). They spent their early years happily growing up together at the breeding center.
Personality: Er Qiao’s personality was quiet and introverted; she preferred to play alone, never fighting for attention and always cherishing her food.
First Daughter: In July 2017, Er Qiao became a mother for the first time, welcoming a female cub named Qing Qing (青青). However, as a first-time mom, she struggled with holding and nursing her newborn. Her improper posture caused the cub to roll around in her arms, making it difficult to latch onto her milk. Seeing this, the caretakers quickly stepped in, temporarily removing the cub and patiently guiding Er Qiao to adjust her hold. After several attempts, she finally mastered the correct posture, allowing Qing Qing to nurse comfortably.
Twin Cubs: In July 2022, Er Qiao gave birth to a set of twin daughters, named Chao Chao (吵吵) and Nao Nao (闹闹). Currently, Er Qiao and her twin daughters reside in No. 2 Villa, where they are well cared for and continue to thrive.
