According to the State Forestry and Grassland Administration, the Baishuijiang Branch of the Giant Panda National Park in Gansu recently captured several videos of giant panda activities using real-time transmission cameras set up along the Baima River and Rangshui River areas. The footage shows snowflakes falling as the pandas leisurely walk through the snowy landscape.

The Baishuijiang Branch, covering an area of over 182,000 hectares, includes a core protection zone of more than 109,000 hectares. The region is rich in biodiversity, primarily focused on protecting wild plants and animals, with a special emphasis on giant pandas. The main area of the Baishuijiang Branch is located on the northern slope of the Mount Motiangling in the Min Mountains, and its southern border connects with the Minshan area of the Giant Panda National Park.
According to the results of the fourth national panda survey, there are 110 wild giant pandas living within the park’s boundaries, further highlighting the importance of this area in panda conservation efforts.
