On August 8, Shenyang Forest Zoo announced that from August 9 to August 12, four unique birthday parties for giant pandas will take place at the zoo’s panda house. The “national treasure stars” — Bing Hua, Pu Pu, Fa Fa, and Bing Qing — will each celebrate their birthdays during this special event.
The birthdays of the four adorable pandas are quite close together. Bing Hua’s birthday is on August 9, followed by Pu Pu and Fa Fa on August 10, and Bing Qing on August 12. As is customary, Shenyang Forest Zoo has meticulously planned a warm “fan meeting” for the pandas’ birthdays. This special arrangement is not only to celebrate the birth of these national treasures but also to allow all panda enthusiasts to witness their growth and share in the joy of the occasion.
The zoo’s caretakers will prepare special birthday cakes made from bamboo and fresh fruits, which are favorites of the pandas (Why Do Giant Pandas Eat “Fruit and Vegetable Popsicles”?). They will also create innovative and fun toys for the pandas, ensuring they can enjoy both the delicious treats and playful activities during their birthday celebrations, which will be filled with laughter and surprises.
Additionally, this year the zoo will offer online live streaming of the birthday celebrations. On each panda’s birthday, Shenyang Forest Zoo will broadcast the events live, allowing those who cannot attend in person to join in the celebration virtually and experience the joy.
