Intriguing Details of Panda Xiao Xin

Pumpkin Princess: Xiao Xin’s love for pumpkins is nothing short of legendary. Whether she’s nibbling on one or wrapping her paws around it like a cherished treasure, she devours each bite with pure delight. Fans adore watching her munch away with sparkling eyes and an unshakable focus, earning her the affectionate nickname “Pumpkin Princess.” Her irresistible eating videos have taken the internet by storm, racking up millions of views – some even surpassing 200 million!

Table Manners: When it comes to dining, Xiao Xin is a picture of elegance. Unlike some of her messier peers, she eats with impressive precision – especially when enjoying her favorite bamboo shoots. Quick yet graceful, she never fumbles or wastes a bite, keeping her eating area impeccably tidy. Even when indulging in soft steamed buns, a few crumbs might fall, but she always makes sure to “clean up” after herself, carefully brushing away the leftovers.

Food Fights with Mom: As a cub, Xiao Xin was already a fierce little competitor – especially when it came to food. One memorable showdown involved a batch of fresh bamboo shoots and a determined Xiao Xin refusing to share with her mother, Xiao Ya Tou. Clinging stubbornly to the plastic basket filled with the prized treats, she held her ground while her mother, growing increasingly impatient, resorted to pushing the basket against the enclosure bars in an attempt to reclaim her share. The battle escalated until, with one final shove, Xiao Xin found herself flipped over and unceremoniously dropped to the ground. Though she lost the match, she certainly won the hearts of fans with her feisty spirit!

The Diligent “Mountain Patrol King”: Life in Foping Panda Valley is nothing short of luxurious for Xiao Xin – after all, she has half a mountain to herself! But instead of lounging around all day, she takes her role as queen of her domain quite seriously. Rising two hours earlier than the other pandas, she embarks on her daily patrol, inspecting every corner of her vast territory. Her dedication has earned her the nickname “Mountain Patrol King” among her fans. And when fruit season arrives, she makes full use of her skills, scaling trees to pluck the freshest, juiciest treats straight from the branches.

Model Employee: Xiao Xin takes her daily routine very seriously, almost as if she’s clocking in and out of work like a dedicated professional. Just like Ya Yi (雅一), she has mastered the art of opening the door to start her day and closing it when she’s done. This impressive habit showcases her sense of responsibility—earning her the title of a true “model employee” in the panda world.

A Tidy Panda with Impeccable Habits: Cleanliness is a top priority for Xiao Xin. Unlike most pandas, who are a bit more carefree about their bathroom habits, she insists on returning to a designated spot inside her enclosure every time she needs to relieve herself. This quirky yet admirable habit has made her stand out as the “clean freak” of the panda world.
