Life Experience of Panda Tao Su
Wild Training: Shortly after her birth, Tao Su and her mother, Zhi Chun, participated in wild training. This training is a vital part of panda conservation efforts, designed to help pandas learn essential survival skills for living in the wild. However, for unknown reasons, Tao Su did not meet the criteria for wild release and therefore was not returned to the wild.
Return to the Base: In July, 2023, Tao Su returned to the Shenshuping Base, where she began living in captivity. At the base, she received expert care and gradually adapted to a captive environment, thriving under the watchful care of the staff.
Life in Bifengxia: Currently, Tao Su enjoys an entire mountain to herself at Bifengxia, where she often runs around freely. She is even more energetic and lively than her two panda neighbors, Yi Ren (伊人) and Yi Bin (伊滨), combined. As a panda who has undergone wilderness training, she truly embodies a spirit of boundless energy and vitality.
