Weaning and Independence: In early September 2019, Meng Bao was officially weaned and began learning to eat bamboo on her own.
Relocation and Quarantine: On September 10, 2019, Meng Bao flew from Sichuan to Beijing Zoo, where she underwent a one-month quarantine. On October 12, Meng Bao completed quarantine and officially moved into the giant panda enclosure at Beijing Zoo, where she met visitors.
