Life Experience
Weaning and Independence: In early September 2019, Meng Bao was officially weaned and began learning to eat bamboo on her own.
Relocation and Quarantine: On September 10, 2019, Meng Bao flew from Sichuan to Beijing Zoo, where she underwent a one-month quarantine. On October 12, Meng Bao completed quarantine and officially moved into the giant panda enclosure at Beijing Zoo, where she met visitors.
Birthday Celebration: On May 23, 2023, Beijing Zoo hosted a special 5th birthday party for Meng Bao, highlighting their care and affection for her growth.
Physical Characteristics
Meng Bao and her twin sister, Meng Yu, look similar but can be distinguished by a “beauty mark” below Meng Bao’s left ear. Meng Bao is quite active, loves to climb high, and exhibits a lively and adorable personality.
