Intriguing Details of Panda Jia Xin
Appearance: Jia Xin has a pair of very dark and thick black eye rings, with a horizontal black mark across her nose. She also has a mole on her forehead, and her eye rings roundly taper downward, giving her a unique and adorable look.
Love for Climbing Trees: From a young age, Jia Xin displayed extraordinary climbing skills and a strong passion for it. While other young pandas were still learning how to climb, Jia Xin was already able to swiftly scale tree branches several meters high. She found her little haven in the trees, often posing in acrobatic-like positions while sleeping at the treetops, looking like a plush hanging ornament. Becasue of this, she was often described as the “most zen panda.” Some of her unique sleeping positions include resting her chin in her hands, supporting her face with one hand, and even balancing her body with just her chin.
Little Confusion: Once, while hanging from a tree, Jia Xin accidentally got her neck stuck in a tree branch, looking quite dangerous. The caretakers quickly rushed to her rescue and carefully freed her from the risky situation. However, Jia Xin seemed unaware of the danger she had been in and instead stared at the busy caretakers in a dazed manner.
Playing with Companions: During her time in the Sun maternity house, Jia Xin had a blast playing with her companions, including Bei Chen (北辰), Wen Jing (文静), and Huan Cai (奂彩). They often played together and had fun wrestling and goofing around. On one occasion, Bei Chen gently bit Jia Xin’s front leg while Wen Jing playfully hugged her from behind. Jia Xin, looking helpless, just let her companions have their way, demonstrating her easy-going nature.
