A fireworks drone show themed “PANDA GO! Hong Kong Tour” was held on the evening of December 28 at the West Kowloon Cultural District in Hong Kong. A total of 1,000 drones took to the sky, using the night as a canvas, and created various giant panda shapes against the backdrop of Victoria Harbour, drawing a large crowd of citizens and tourists to watch.

The show lasted for 10 minutes and consisted of 7 acts, including 3 segments that combined drones with fireworks. As the performance began, cheerful music played while the drones formed the outline of a giant panda, counting down with the audience. Soon after, six adorable giant pandas appeared in the sky, waving to the audience. The drones then reformed, and the giant pandas transformed into “tour guides,” flying through Hong Kong’s streets and alleys. Landmarks such as the Ding Ding Tram, neon signs, and the Tsim Sha Tsui Clock Tower appeared, accompanied by cascading fireworks, which earned continuous praise from the audience.

This event marked the first time in Hong Kong that drones were used to carry fireworks. The panda-shaped drones beautifully complemented the night scene of Victoria Harbour, inviting citizens to share in the joy. The organizer, ARR Creative Studio, stated that Hong Kong is home to six giant pandas, bringing happiness to the entire city. The studio hopes to promote the unique charm of pandas through related theme activities, encouraging the whole city to celebrate and enjoy their presence.
