Recently, at the Baima River Conservation Station in the Gansu section of the Giant Panda National Park, staff members detected a giant panda through a real-time monitoring terminal transmitting data via the 700 MHz frequency band. This discovery highlights the excellent ecological environment in the Gansu area.

The monitoring terminal that captured the panda’s image is located at an altitude of about 2,631 meters at the Baima River Conservation Station. The clear video footage showed the panda leisurely walking along a forest path. It was early winter morning, and the panda, round and plump, was wrapped in soft black-and-white fur, seemingly enjoying the quiet and serene moment.
As the panda ambled along at a relaxed pace, its paws left faint tracks in the snow. With its bright, curious eyes, it occasionally glanced at the snow-covered branches overhead and then peered at the surrounding peaceful forest. Its calm and gentle demeanor brought a touch of warmth and vitality to the cold winter morning.
